Pedal feel is great, but it gets easier with a stronger bite

These pads have a strong initial bite and linear feel. Pedal feel is great but lighter with a stronger bite. The only thing that bothers me is that they are very dusty.

Pros
  • Nice Packaging
Cons
  • Out of Style

Excellent pads. Impressive on both cold and warm braking

Excellent pads. Both cold and hot breaking are impressive. I now really enjoy driving my Civic 05. Note that they leave some dust on the wheels, but that's normal for me - braking performance is much more important to me than the looks of the car.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not bad

Great item for brake pads

Bought these brakes for my 2008 Civic 4-DR last year and have to say I am impressed with the stopping power of the brakes. Very good results. If you are trying to upgrade OEM brakes this is it! The only downside to these brakes is that the company claims they reduce brake dust, but the opposite is true! Generates a lot of brake dust in the beginning. But once they're broken, you don't get as much!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Okay

Be careful with the Compatibility Checker.

I bought these pads for a 1992 Honda Accord. This car was sold with either Akebono or Nissan calipers. This pad was designed for an Akebono caliper and is slightly narrower for a Nissan caliper. The new pad didn't quite match the old pad and when I looked at Rockauto they had all the brake parts listed for both manufacturers' calipers. The description on Revain must include this part when verifying suitability for this car.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Reliability

Excellent quality brake pads

The brake pads are well made and are holding up very well, maybe even better than the originals. They came with grease and metal seals but no braces so clean yours or buy new ones. As expected, the brakes were loud and dusty at the time, but after a few days everything was perfect until today. When installing these pads, be sure to purchase new rotors or upgrade old ones. I haven't done this and my brakes sometimes make a square noise because of it. However, they still hold the car well…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Better Than Original Honda Brake Pads

Equipped with our 2008 Honda Civic at 52,000 miles. These green EBC pads have a sandpaper-like finish that will gently abrade the discs for the first 50 miles (brake carefully!). After that, they offer more braking power than standard pads. I definitely feel the difference. The initial bite is much larger, and then they are just stronger. Note that due to the "disc recoating" after these pads are installed, there will be a lot of brake dust for a while. The EBC Green Pads came with 4 new pads…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Something different

Too much brake dust!

These pads appear to be of very good quality but I just can't get over the amount of dust they produce. I use EBC Ultimax rotors with Greenstuff pads on my 2002 Civic Si. After following the break-in instructions, the pads were driven 1,200 miles in combined mode, but mostly around town. The amount of dust is slightly reduced, but about two to three times higher than the Satisfied GranSport 6 pads they replace. I miss the aggressive initial bite that the Satisfied pads gave, but other than that

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • nothing here
