Audi TT 225 upgraded brakes

I have used them front and rear on my Audi TT 225 and they are a nice improvement on braking and the braking system is still very low. Do yourself a favor and pick up powerful rotors.

Pros
  • Great for fast driving and premium sedan
Cons
  • ---

Great brake pads

My 2003 Audi TT had special metal brake pads at the auto parts store that squeaked constantly. I replaced them with these EBC pads and the squeak is gone forever and brake dust is greatly reduced.

Pros
  • Perfect brake upgrade for a European car
Cons
  • Weight

Very low dust! on parts

I installed these along with the new slotted EBC rotors on all four corners of my 2003 VW Beetle GLX and despite the brake lapping on my new rotors I have had very little brake dust building up on my rims on. They look very beautiful and stay even better!.

Pros
  • Lowest dust pad in stock
Cons
  • Some issues

Great Low Dust Pads

These pads are great. I ride USR818 rotors front and rear and am very satisfied. They are a great solution for dust protection on my white rims. They make a little road noise, but the manufacturer estimates they're under 1,000 miles. They also look fantastic on the caliper. These pads are worth the extra money if you have them!

Pros
  • High friction, low heat loss
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
