Disappointing Ceramic Pads for Automotive Brakes

Based on our own experience, these pads did not provide the expected performance improvement in stopping power, and they tend to generate more dust than other ceramic pads we have used before.

Better than OEM: Spare parts

So far so good. They work a little better than the stock pads that came with the car. I'll have to see how long they last compared to them.

Don't waste your money

Put them in my GL450 and as soon as I left the car park I knew something was terribly wrong. It has absolutely no stopping power on a large mercenary. It has no friction and squeaks when you try to stop. The brake pedals themselves now have worse feedback than the previous semi-metal front pads I had. They're advertised as ceramic, but they definitely don't work as well as regular $40 pads. They are awful and I will never be tricked into buying them again. Eventually I took my Benz to the…
