DP is not suitable for my application, here Revane is wrong.

These will NOT fit the 2003 Subaru Legacy L SE Estate. Unfortunately, I have a history of street shoes on my Subaru; I have found that many aftermarket brake pads must have side lugs ground 1/16"-1/8" to match the caliper brackets. I thought that was the case here. I took a grinder on a set only to find that these pads are too big (think rotor diameter) and not wide enough to fit properly in the caliper mounts. This is probably for a similar Subaru but they are NOT SUITABLE FOR THE APPLICATIONS

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Expensive

The best pads so far. May require a change.

Cons: *In order to install these pads on my 2000 Subaru Legacy, I had to file the backing plate on the two inner pads until it was flush with the friction material. I think they were made for the GT models that had large rotors. * Braking was really bad for the first 300 miles. Like "$6 Rockauto Pillow" - crappy level. This happened only due to the fact that the pads were worn out and the "burst coating" is wearing out. * Even now that they're broken, they still squeak very quietly under light…

  • Brake Pads
