EBC brake pads are good for the braking system

EBC Greenstuff 6000 Series has been used by me to replace the following cars: 2000 BMW Z-3; 1997 Ford Explorer XLT; and 1998 Forf F-150 2x. These are great pads and I can only recommend them.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Reliability

You throw too much dust!

Installed on a Harley 02 F-150 truck. You throw too much dust. I'm towing, which makes it worse. They improved braking but aren't safe enough to justify the dust. Next time I'll try something different.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are new competitors

I removed the spacer, straightened it where the cones bent on the metal, and glued it back on. I cleaned the rotor with sandpaper and checked for runout but it ran fine but I think a small burr was pressing on the pad causing it to move. 2…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

But the benefits far outweigh the downsides of brake dust. I was replacing a previous set that had been on the truck for 4 years decided it was time to replace them so I ordered new pads and after removing the old ones I noticed they were at least 3/4 pads left. But since I had the new ones in hand and ready to…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
