poor choice for outdoor use

I just have to say that they are not suitable for outdoor use. They thumped at low speed and ripped my new rotors. I still had life in my factory pads so I reinstalled them and the pulsing was gone.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Annoying

Good stopping power, good prices here.

My first replacement brake set on my 2012 Kawasaki Concours. The brakes were easy to change and the new pads are holding up very well, although you should be light on the brakes until the brakes give out - that's what I'm told.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Quality

Great pads but they really squeak

They perform great but now I understand what other reviewers have said about the squeaking at low speed. Of course yes, even if I changed the rotors at the same time. I thought they just had to lie down but they still make a lot of noise unless they are working very hard.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Great customer service

Revain's website says they fit my FJR 1300 but unfortunately they don't. I contacted Moto Heaven and Jim from customer service was excellent. He told me the right fit and will take care of me. My advice: call the guys at Moto Heaven first to confirm their suitability! They have great customer service so I gave them a 5. I will buy the parts I need from Moto Heaven!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality

Excellent pads - one set per caliper.

I used these pads on my 2008 Concours 1400 (112,500 miles) and had no problems. Usually they drive about 30,000 kilometers. They sometimes squeak a little when cold, but stop at minimal brake lever pressure, wet or dry, hot or cold. I put in a set of discount pads which were half the price. After 8900 miles on 4 pads the friction material had separated from the backing plates resulting in a complete loss of the front brake. My mistake! REMEMBER - EACH CALIPER REQUIRES 1 KIT, ie YOU MUST ORDER 2

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Reliability

Significant improvement in braking performance

I had the front rotors on my Kawasaki C14 replaced under warranty and replaced with a set of EBC HH composite pads. I saw positive reviews about it on various forums and wanted to try it. On the plus side: Approx. 5-7% more bite than standard pads with the same lever pressure. Best performance in wet weather. Less warm-up time. Cons: Short pad life (about 6-7000 miles). not all the time, but when they do, they really cry. This is my second set so I obviously like them. 1 or 2 finger brakes, all

EBC = Performance +++

Compared to standard pads and other brands I've bought before, these pads make a difference in brake control for a sport bike like my 08 ZX6R. I feel safer when braking because the distance is shorter. I no longer worry about squeezing the front handle and wondering if I'll stop at a safe distance. ***Warning*** These pads don't bite at first cold, after a few squeezes of the handle to heat up the rotor and pad they will bite hard. Your braking technology must therefore adapt to these pads. I…
