I really give these 3.5 stars. I had paint defects. a chip and a few spots where the paint has flowed. Although it works fine.

I bought this to shorten the reach a bit (I'm aiming for more comfort as I'm in my 50's now). It feels solid and holds my carbon fiber handlebars well (use sand material to keep it from slipping). I am very happy with it.

To be honest I would avoid this product at all costs…. On my very first ride the head bolts came off completely and nearly killed me! A very integral part of your steering and stability on the bike, the stem is a vastly inferior product….

This is a cheap Chinese fake. It's no Easton, and if you look at the carbon fiber wall thickness, it's patchy and doesn't look good. To their credit, the seller accepted my return without questions and very quickly.

This isn't carbon and aluminum. It is made of aluminum. On the outside of the stem is a 5/8 inch wide strip of material that looks like carbon fiber. If you look inside the stem, all you see is aluminum. This so-called carbon fiber is only applied to the surface. this is very difficult, I return the picture.

Well made and beautiful. Although I have my doubts as to how much carbon there is actually - most of it appears to be aluminum. This is normal - it is quite light, almost 160g for the 17°/110mm model. It fits my bike perfectly, which is what I expected. I want the QR code I drew to be somewhere else so I don't have to look at it. This is my only complaint. I would definitely buy again.

replaces a heavy stem on a big bike. The old one had a 100mm stem, being only on the smaller side of the midframe the handlebars seemed to stretch a bit. So this stem was part of my MTN bike/budget build and at $20 it was a solid choice. I feel like I can loosen up my reach a bit now, it's easier to handle (despite using wider bars now) and looks and feels pretty good. I see no flaws or flaws in the finish or mechanics of this new stem. recommend (60mm stem weighs just over 3.8 oz)!
