Don't worry.: Tow Bar Accessory

This mirror wobbles even when idling in the driveway. At highway speeds, it's practically useless. The motor skills don't work. And it whistles in the street. none of these issues with my OEM mirror. No curb light like OEM. Just shaking it makes it useless. Save your money for something better.

Pros
  • Tow Bar Accessory
Cons
  • Working Speed

Not best of breed

As a car mechanic, I replaced a few mirrors. It was chosen mainly because of its price. This was for a 19 year old Suburban which I don't expect to be part of our fleet for very long so I picked it to inquire about cost. I didn't get a passing score in my opinion. Most of these aftermarket replacement parts are somewhat lacking in structural integrity and therefore reflect vibration when riding. This one was too short for both of them. It's better than no vision but very annoying constant…

Pros
  • Towing mirror
Cons
  • A few little things

Fits nicely on a 2002 Suburban LS

The OEM mirror on my 2002 Suburban was starting to get this "foggy, blurry" look. Difficulty viewing the backup. If you have not already replaced the mirror assembly, this is not a problem on these vehicles. Remove the triangular cover from the inside of the door, unscrew the 3 nuts, disconnect the wire harness (if the mirrors are powered) and it comes out. I reused the OEM foam padding. The one that came with this mirror could have fitted, but the OEM cut was a bit more precise. never mind…
