Everything you need to replace your key fob case

This product was purchased to replace a broken GMC key fob. Everything you need to install the replacement shell is included in the box. The blade of the old key fob fits into the new case. Removing components from a damaged OEM key fob was difficult as the GM case appeared to have melted - a Dremel tool would have made removing the circuit board and blade less of a pain. Once the components are extracted, they go into a new shell and everything snaps into place. The quality of the replacement…

I couldn't ask for anything better!

Replacement key fobs on a 2011 Camaro. It's just clams. Exact replicas without the bow tie on the back of the original. I just took the old ones apart, they were pretty stiff because they were really glued together, but I opened them up and took out the little circuit board inside and put it in the new case. The hardest part was aligning the switch key spring. Now I have new keychains. Sooo good, works great! Oh and I took a heat gun, heated up the flies on the back and took them off, took a…

The key blade is not interchangeable with the OEM key

What else isn't said about this key fob is that you can't take the key blade off your old OEM key and put it in this new key fob - they are not compatible! So while you can swap out the circuit board to use this keyless entry fob, you can't use the key unless it's been cut by a professional (and those aren't cheap keys!). I don't know if you can buy a new OEM case but if you can it's best if you just want to replace the key fob. If you need an extra key/fob this is about as economical as it…
