Mini suction vise. with great attitude.

These mighty little suction cups are just great. The pull is strong, you can't take it off the table. The handles fit well, no gaps, no burrs to damage my items I put inside. This article is very useful around the house when you need a third hand to hold something (firmly). I use it to make my jewelry. I soldered the wires together. Do not use with small flames, it is made of hard plastic. I dropped this item on the cement floor and didn't damage the vise. I'll be using it at home for a long…

Pros
  • Suction cup sticks securely to any smooth surface
Cons
  • I'll add later

Nice little vise! for power tools and hand tools

Just the right size for holding tiny electronic components while soldering, and the smooth metal jaws help dissipate heat. I wish there were different sets of jaws for different purposes. The included sponges slide up and down if you want to use plastic sponges. This vise is not designed to hold large items. Jaws are 1.5 inches long and open 1.125 inches. It has a suction cup base that allows you to attach the vise to both horizontal and vertical surfaces. If you want the base to be fixed more…

Pros
  • Zinc alloy handle, adjustable screw hole for easy clamping
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Good vise for limited use

This is a cheap decent little low tech vise. The bottom line is that you need to pick the right mission. This isn't the best vise for anything that requires a very tight grip (like trying to open a bottle of dried paint). But it's good for a subject you can photograph in a lightbox (e.g. a flower). Or something small (an egg or a 1:32 scale model airplane) that you want to draw. It is very portable due to its size and weight. You can wall mount it with a vacuum vise (although I've found vacuum…

Pros
  • Pro'sKit Desktop vise for servicing cell phones, tablets and other microelectronic devices such as printed circuit boards commonly used in the electronics industry. Can also be used for other small firmware
Cons
  • unreliable
