Very difficult to open

plastic lids in grocery stores usually difficult to open, but these bags are almost impossible. I've tried everything, wet my finger, fluffed the brim, etc. Eventually managed to pop a few of them open.

The best I've found so far.

They are stronger and a bit thicker than other compost bags I've tried. The size fits me perfectly. I store my compost in the freezer and then toss it in the bin for city collection, so I don't leave it at room temperature (FYI).

Pros

I had no idea you could make such a bad garbage bag

worse. Many bags are not bags at all - they are more like cases as they are solid throughout. Useless. Other bags can break on the floor if you take them out of the bin and throw them in the kitchen. Fabulous! Also no handles or other devices help to tie the bag at the top. Bottom line, if you don't want to be chasing a good bag between leaky bags and don't want to throw junk all over the floor, then you can stop buying this item.
