Oil filter for oil filter and accessories

Decided to try these filters. It seems somewhat light and flimsy in hand. If you hold the glass and smack the domed end with your other palm, you may feel the weak spring give way. I don't know if this could ever be a problem if for example the filter element seal is lost and dirty unfiltered oil may or may not bypass the filter. I'm just picky about filters and it's most likely not a problem. I plan to cut this open on my sister's car to test it out. All the ones I've seen in the clear looked…
