Decent product for the price, next time there will be good ones

Bought for intensive use, several times a week and so far it has held up. A few things to watch out for: The handles get very hot, so you'll need a good pair of oven mitts. The lid says it's tempered glass, but when it gets hot it "bursts" and it just makes me nervous. I use an old similar lid that I have had for several years.

Missing parts Best in pots and pans

The pan works well and heats evenly but the product does not come with a screw to attach the lid handle. I tried every size screw I could find in my garage (there are quite a few) and none fit. I didn't realize I was buying a pot that had some "pure intentions" for the environment, but I find it wasteful/slightly funny to know that Revane would easily send in a brand new pot or similar lid and tell me to throw this one away. I'll go to the hardware store and hope for the best.

Pros
  • Great for me

  • Unbelievable price

Eco? Item: Kitchen & Dining

The pot is fine. Unfortunately, it has a 6" x 4 1/2" Ecolution tag that cannot be removed. The top plastic layer of the label peels off, leaving behind the paper label and the world's strongest adhesive. I have to spend half an hour or more trying to peel off the small pieces and I'll probably have to wipe the area with acetone or nail polish thinner to remove the glue. Eco? Completely stupid, cumbersome for the user to choose the chosen label. Again, the pot is fine, but I would never buy an…

Food doesn't burn on the bottom of the pan on medium heat

A great pan for steaming prawns, oysters and scallops. I set a small vented basket on the bottom, add about 1/2 cup of water, add whatever seafood I want and set over medium heat with the lid closed, and voila, excellent seafood steamed to perfection. The bottom distributes the heat as evenly as any pot I've ever owned. Tomorrow I'm going to bread some fresh shrimp and toss them in hot oil in this pan at 340-360 degrees for about 7-10 minutes to see how they come out. I bet they will be great…

How to remove a sticker from an item

For those of you wondering how to remove a large sticker from this item it's not that difficult. I made it in half an hour using materials I found around the house. The first thing you need to do is remove the waterproof vinyl membrane from the top. Start by picking a corner and digging with your fingernail. It's in there with an airtight seal, so you'll need to use some elbow grease. Most likely, it will break into small pieces, but don't be discouraged. If you break your nail, DO NOT get…
