Great pasture muzzle

Does the job but had to add fleece to the nose and sides to keep it from chafing. I have a pony and am glad I ordered a horse size so the coat doesn't run too small. It's beautifully finished and still holding up.

  • Sports and Leisure
Cons
  • No instructions

Check riding muzzle size

Great product but my horse's muzzle was too big so it rubbed against the coat. I stopped immediately to avoid the wound. We have used fleece halter pads to make soft coverage around the edges and have used it on another horse and it fits much better.

My Horse Saved: Sport

This product seems to be working. My horse was overweight and liked to eat which is bad for his legs and more. She tries to pull it off but it seems strong and stays put. I would recommend this to any horse that has weight and hoof issues.

Broken after a month of light use

Broken a month right after the 30 day refund expires - and it's only used when I put him in the queue to stop him eating sticks πŸ™„ . The whole bottom part just fell off completely and became unusable. Don't waste your money, it's worth buying a more expensive one that will last longer, unless that company decides to back up their product and replace it when they do (but that's debatable).

Pros
  • Halter and leashes

great idea, broke after 3 weeks

After my horse drowned, it was the only way to get out onto the pasture again. So it is life saving. The construction is as strong as I've tried or seen, but it still broke in two within 3 weeks (in the muzzle! Not on the straps!). After passing 3, we designed a thick leather muzzle. I would still recommend this muzzle as the best pasture muzzle you can buy and most horses won't screw it up.

Saved our horses from laminitis.

Status 5 months. without damage or wear. Fits my horses well and I have not had any fit issues. The grazing pits are a bit small in my opinion, I don't see my horses trying to graze anymore as it seems they can't pull anything through the pits. We mixed very tall grass with Gram's grass, but I've seen few attempts at feeding. But we were okay with so much green grass and the risk of laminitis, it was more beneficial for them to exercise than graze. We feed them 100% chow.

Pros
  • Stickiness
Cons
  • Frequency

Works great! to Equestrian

After receiving this muzzle about a week ago I finally worked up the courage to try it out. It took my horse about 20 minutes to figure out that he could still get a small amount of grass through the small hole in his snout (about the size of a quarter), which kept him busy and allowed him to focus on something else to focus than to get the damn piece. out - which he tried unsuccessfully. For my convenience, it has a quick release velcro strap that will come loose if it rubs against something…

  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • Work Speed
