🐎 ECP Correction All Purpose Contoured Saddle Pad: Enhanced Comfort with Memory Foam Pockets Review

Great product: looks good; I've washed it several times (both hand wash and gentle cycle) and it still looks like new; dries quickly after washing or intensive driving; fits my breed of horse with high withers perfectly. The green color is a classic hunter green that pairs well with a chestnut horse. I bought two of these and would recommend them to anyone interested.

I use these pads with a few different VSD and GP saddles. LOVE that I can easily customize treeless saddles. The included pads are useless, but the pockets are fine. Even a double layer under the panels is great for most treeless saddles. I collect them in many colors. :-pGood value for money, perfect for StarTrekk Comfort.

This is a fur cushion. I was expecting a better foam that actually had a small effect once the weight of the saddle and rider was in place, you know like memory foam. The foam in this pillow has collapsed to zero. The pads didn't matter, and the foam is certainly not memory foam. It would be cheaper to buy a foam mattress and cut off enough padding for 4 barns full of horses. It has a beautiful blue color.

So I have two. My particular saddle requires very thin padding and is hard to come by without sacrificing thickness or shape. It fits perfectly. I don't care about the weird foam it comes with, but I think if you save the cutouts and buy a proper insole or gel pad it will help. My saddle is adjustable so I don't hold anything in it. Highly recommended if you have a Eurolight or any other endurance saddle.

I guess I shouldn't rate these pads until Eve has worn them for at least a year, but so far I'm very impressed with them. I like that I don't have to use an extra half pad on my saddle pad, although this company makes excellent half pads which I also use when I want to use a regular saddle pad. Cons: The foam material has to be removed when washing and is quite difficult to put back. I also think they are a bit more expensive than they are.

This product is near perfect. The padding is excellent and sits well on the horse. It is strong and durable and well worth the money. What I don't like: Terrible location of the webbing. Something needs to be moved forward. I can pull one of the girth straps through but not both as that would cause the pad to shift on the horse. Even for a large, withered horse, this is not the best option. He can use any embossed piece of material near the pommel area to better hold the pad in place otherwise…
