Simple, clean design

I like the simple, clean design with rounded edges. It's unevenly weighted, a little bulky to move, and doesn't fit under my counter.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Security

Very large and heavy, ideal for furniture

Strong yes, but heavy! It's very heavy for a stool, making it impractical to carry around the house. Good note: I have very large stands that fit my 6" 6" husband and this stool allows my little 2 year old to wash my hands!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • No

Great investment for storage and organization

It was a great investment. The boy used to climb everything, now he happily and confidently climbs it. It's also very easy to assemble, it takes about 20 minutes. I highly recommend it if you have a kid who likes to participate in everything. The wood feels a little thin at times, but we haven't had any strength or stability issues in 6 months of use.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The child can help in the kitchen!

I bought this for my 10 month old baby. I also bought flat elastic cords to keep it from falling out. So far, so good! This product allows him to see the whole kitchen and keeps snacks on the counter while I'm cooking. It saves lives in the kitchen and allows me to cook hands-free. I look forward to when it can go up and down on its own but for now I'm very happy with my purchase. It's big, takes up a lot of space, but is very durable and easy to clean.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

Smelly but durable: storage and organization

The first thing I did when it arrived was leave it outside for a week - there is a strong chemical smell. I didn't like this part, but other than that it was pretty easy to put together. My 1.5 year old used it for the first time today. She likes to shove him across the room and he lifted her high enough to use the kitchen sink. She can't go up alone as the first step is directly below the second (I believe it's a ladder, not a ladder). She can't walk/climb well enough to maneuver so I just put

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • For seniors

Feel free to get one if you need a stool for your child to stand on!

My 16 month old grandson is getting too heavy to hold him up while we wash his hands in the sink and has decided to buy a stool to stand on. He loves to! He can easily climb it up and down! His balance is very good and he knows he has to turn around to get down. I took this one because it didn't have a pole in the back. I think the bar will just get in the way! It is very durable and will not tip over. I keep him on the wall under the light switch as he loves turning the lights on and off…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Rigid Climbing Support

UPDATE: We own this fifth month and by far the best purchase we've made for our little man. There are no frills, it's just durable and practical. It's a snack bar, a sous-chef whisk for breakfast, a place to stand while we talk to Grandpa on the iPad, a place to pull new and interesting grown-up things off the counter (like that wrench you also the stand can beat with) and more. This gets SO MUCH use every day and is great to wear because the spanking little guy has been through it already! We…
