Amazing air filter. Uses foam filtration. I was tight under the hood of my '67 camera and that freed me up a bit. easy to install and also easy to clean.

The general appearance of the air cleaner is good. Now it's hanging on my car. I have read previous reviews of this product and when people give it one star because their engine is failing due to the carburetor and the air filter element is melting, I have a feeling they have bigger problems than knocking off an air filter.

I've used them on several automotive applications (Firebirds and Camaros from the late 70's) and most recently after converting a carburetor to a TBI Chev K2500. The clamp mount that comes with the kit is a little flimsy (can't tighten enough to prevent the filter from moving/rotating so I've only ever made a custom mount out of a piece of flat iron. They look pretty sharp and fit without problems.
