Description of Edelbrock 1490 Throttle Cable Bracket

Has a gold iridited finish. Use with throttle lever adapter # 1483 and stock cable bracket. Designed for big block vehicles with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable. Accepts transmission kick down cable and includes hardware. Intake manifold mounting style. Fit type: Vehicle Specific.

Flimsy and overpriced bracket

According to my experience, this bracket is a total waste of money. It is very flimsy and doesn't hold up under heavy use .The price is way too high for THE poor quality of this product..

what does it do Best Exhaust System

I have not found a use for this part although the Edelbrock carburetor manual says it is for 289 and 302 manifolds. Where is it going and what does it do?
