💪 Enhanced Performance: Edelbrock 8131 Chrome Fuel Line for Optimal Fuel Delivery Review

Bolts straight onto my SBC with an Edelbrock 1406 carb with no problems Fits and looks great. Refilling the carburetor after installation takes a little time, so just prepare yourself with a can of starting fluid or whatever you prefer.

Excellent quality. Having previously purchased a Specter product which has a similar feature but no matter what has leaked this was a nice step up which also has a 40 micron filter and AN-6 (3/8) thread contains. The finish is not mirror like chrome but beautifully polished aluminum.

Nice addition to my Edelbrock carburetor. 2 reasons why it got 4 stars and not 5 stars. First, the filter had my scratches on the surface. They polished very well. Second, it was difficult to find a 3/8 inch fuel line fitting. I used an Aeroquip FCE1512 fitting.

Excellent fit and finish. Installed in place with no adjustments. I installed it on a Chevy 350 with an Edelbrock 1406 and hooked it up to an AN-6/flexed steel hose and it's perfect. Not a single leak, and it's far more reliable than a cheap rubber hose. I constantly had nightmares about the old rubber being torn and gasoline being spilled on the collectors. Auto BQ!

I bought a banjo fitting from local auto parts, was aftermarket, all new gaskets and all, couldn't get it to not leak (I'm a plumber). Bought this from Revain and it was made by Edelbrock. With filter installed, not a drop of petrol escaped. carbohydrate removed. and reinstalled and still no leak. Good product. The only thing to watch out for is the gap between the intake end of the filter and the intake manifold thermostat housing. I installed it on my 1969 F-250 with a 390 cid engine.

Nothing but problems with this kit. I use an Edelbrock 1405 carburetor on an Edelbrock 2101 header; Here are the questions: 1. This line touches the hand throttle mount (if installed). Not a show stopper, but it's not clear.2. The fuel filter hardly cleans the collector itself.3. The kit aligns the filter directly to the heater hose! I've always loved Edelbrock products but lately I've been very disappointed with this and a few others that I've bought. Why, because they are advertised as 'Made in America' but the receipt says 'Made in China'. Does it affect his performance? Not quite, but they need to be honest with their customers and they need to "get up" and start making these products here like they used to!
