Great learning product

My son is 3 years old and started reading when he was 2 years old. That's why he loves toys with letters and numbers. But they need a challenge, so they're great for learning sentence structure.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Great price

Universal Activity - Tile Games

I work with reading difficulties and this course gives them great practice that they enjoy. Every morning I lay out a few tiles for them to complete a sentence. The only caveat I want to make is to make sure you stress that students can't pick them up when rearranging them, as there are different words on the back and it can get confusing quickly.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great tool for home learning

Love it! Kids (1st & 5th graders) alike had a great time with it! I love that it has a carry handle and comes in its own storage case! I find this a plus and helps keep clutter to a minimum! It's also perfect to take with you wherever you go. We practiced in the woods behind our house and had a blast making sentences together! Great tool for home learning!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Expandable

Misleading photo and label

In the photo the container looks like a gallon container, the label has 288 words and punctuation marks! Reality? More like a quart-sized jar with 114 plastic tiles printed on both sides for a total of 228 words and characters (thirty short ones), and how could both sides be used at the same time? Disappointing to say the least; I planned to use them in small groups for a sentence building game.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • So far so good

Versatile, fun and good quality

As a mother of six who are homeschooled, I'm always looking for fun, educational products to keep my kids engaged, secretly reinforcing what they're learning, or who need extra help . . My 8-year-old son is extremely insecure about reading and gets very upset when his 7-year-old brother, who reads proficiently and confidently, "helps" him with his reading. He tells me (and everyone else) that he can't read, although he can read very well when he's in a good mood and not forced to do schoolwork,

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • So So
