Great hardware, good quality boards

The first thing I checked when I received my boards was the quality of the soldering and they were done quite well. The boards themselves worked without any problems and the setup process was easy - I just treated the board like any other Uno board and everything worked without any problems. I like how the logic probe stretches and it works pretty well. The kit instructions were a bit lacking, but considering I've used boards like this in the past, getting everything set up was pretty trivial…

  • Electronics
Cons
  • Somewhat wrinkled

It's really submersible

Something I doubted it would really be a probe on a feather but it really is. The board is loaded with Blink as usual, and the probe has a corresponding indicator. I think the most common programming mistake people make is assigning the wrong contact number. Now you can test it without having to go back and look through the code. Simply press the contact with the probe and if the red indicator does not flash, you are connected to the wrong contact. Works, simple, cheap, convenient. Good combo.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Functionality

An interesting thing to tinker with and useful!

This product is an electronics kit for building a logic analyzer for use with the Arduino UNO board. It has 32K of memory and can be connected to a computer via USB for firmware and power. The logic analyzer can detect high voltage on a red light (2 to 5V) and low voltage on a green light (0 to 0.8V), and high resistance (or high resistance or just a trip) on a blue light. The board that comes with this kit is compatible with the Arduino IDE and I used their publicly available blink code…

Pros
  • Positive Only
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

The logic probe works the same as the Arduino

As far as I can tell the logic probe only uses the microcontroller for power. I downloaded the "Blink" program from the sample library and it made the LED on the board turn on and off about once a second. If you place the tip of a logic probe on pin 13, it will show a logic level shift when you change which LED on the probe is lit. The tip is elastic to help maintain contact during probing. The logic probe plastic cover was made from 3 pieces of laser cut plastic with a paper protective cover…

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Super kit, very useful starter kit.

I ordered two of these for my grandchildren. Both kits were complete, as were USB cables. The probe is fully assembled except for the plastic housing. Very easy to assemble, the parts fit perfectly. In case you are wondering, the probe is not microprocessor based, it uses an LM339 as a comparator. This works very well. UNO on both of my comes with Blink Sketch pre-installed and works great. I know it's a trifle, but being able to power on an unknown UNO that was just received and run Blink…

Pros
  • Fits many
