Steel slightly rough not shiny as shown in photo. But although these scissors are a little tight, they work. They are sharp enough to trim my bangs. I'm used to cutting scissors with a slight curve to the teeth, which makes it easier to work. These scissors are perfectly flat. But for the price they are good. As long as you don't do anything too complicated with them, they should be fine.

Good for removing nose hair etc. The blades are strong and closely spaced so cut hair well. You are a little pair of scissors. The rounded ends prevent cutting the inside of the nose when used for this purpose. They are durable and will last for years.

There is a fine line between 'easy to use' small scissors and scissors that are too small. So I would like to recommend them for medium sized hands. (People with hands the size of plates need to ask someone else to do the work for them! ;) The item arrived very quickly and in perfect condition.

Unless you have a huge wheeze or large, flared nostrils, these shears are too big. They're about 1/16 inch taller than the Rev so they don't leave any room to work. In addition, when using them, the stroke is not smooth, but rough, they are incorrectly sharpened. I am very disappointed in this purchase. So now I'm going back and buying the ones from "Rev". Don't waste your money. They won't do the work for you.

Engineered for high quality, durability and longevity. The safety ends still get really close for trimming those hard to reach areas of the nose. I have searched the beauty salons and could not find these nose and ear scissors in any store or even in the big pharmacy chains. My last hope was Revain, which would replace the very old safety scissors. Thank you!

The scissors came in a plastic case with nothing thrown in a bubble envelope. I cleaned them up a bit and tried them out. They generally do not cut well and are not recommended. I do not recommend returning these.
