I use these over my skimmers. They stretch well enough and don't tear. They trap a lot of dirt. I hose them off about once a week to get the trapped dirt out. Each sock lasts about a month before they develop holes. I'm fastidious about keeping my pool clean, these are worthwhile and do as I expect.

These are awesome for catching the small particles that the filter basket can't catch. I actually rinse them out each day and replace them when needed.

We don’t use these all the time but when we let the dogs swim or have a lot of people over we add one and run the pump and they seem to do a better job at getting the small stuff than just the skimmer basket alone.

I wanted something that would keep small insects and small debris out of my DE filter (pre filter). My skimmer basket holes (standard size) are perhaps 1/4” and catch leaves and June bugs. Why pay $15 at the pool store for 5, when these are the same thing for less. Had no issue with suction power and worked as intended.

Been using basket socks for years and this product is is well made. They're easily rinsed off and can be reused several times.I'll definitely see a couple of years from this one pack.

I was skeptical. However, once we started using these I notice it really does work. Specifically, without restricting suction power of the filter, it captures all the really small stuff that would otherwise pass all the way through all the strainer baskets (even the one at the filter).Anecdotally, it has serious improved our pool water (along with proper water care of course). We replace them about every 1-2 weeks. Sometimes every week during start of summer.

These were a little big for my skimmer length wise, but I just put it on the outside of my skimmer basket as well. This picture was after one cleaning. I was sucking up the random piles that appear on the bottom of my pool. This caught all the debris that usually goes into my sand filter. Very happy with this product! I will purchase these again. It says they are reusable so I will spray out with the hose and try to reuse, but it comes with quite a few.

these skimmer socks really collect all the fine particles that float on the water line. It is amazing to see when you clean the skimmer sock, everything that is in there. Definitely worth the purchase and your pool guy will be impressed too!

These take the hassle out of pool filter maintainance. No more cleaning out the skimmer and the filter pump and backwashing the sand filter. I do still backwash once a month but it’s just to verify. Not sure what the suction review is, but this didn't affect my water flow at all. I stick one of these in the skimmer basket and one in the basket at the filter and almost nothing gets through to my filter making cleaning a piece of cake. I change or clean them once a week (takes about a minute) and that's that. For pool maintenance, greatest thing since slice bread. Only issue is that I ordered two 30 packs and got one 20 and one 30.

These are amazing! I just learned about these in a pool group I'm in on Facebook, and they're a total game changer! They will disintegrate if forgotten. They work great to skim the dog hair before it gets to the main filters. I have a lab and it’s amazing the amount of hair that ends up in the pool. Tricky to get on the basket but gets easier with practice. Good value.

Easy to use. Collects all the junk and creatures. Pump is cleaner than ever. Basket alone was letting leaves and smaller stuff through. Use about 2 a week but live in the country… many bugs and leaves

These have extended the life of my pool canister filter. I change these out weekly as the amount of organic material getting filtered out is very high. It’s also kept my phosphates down by removing the debris upstream of my filter and not letting the litter break down. I will not go without these now.
