Besides my original complaint of What I disliked; that a crimping tool is necessary to make use of everything in this packet, a bigger issue is that this wire line material is subject to severe corrosion and we don’t have a corrosive environment. It was in service for one suspending a cafe light string, and just broke in two segments. After the line broke I found the wire had change from a silver looking wire into a brown looking color.

The crimps keep coming off no matter how we try. My guess is sun shades/shade clothes require too much tension for this. Its snaps and if you're in the way you will get hurt. I was holding an end when one end snapped and now I am super sore. If anyone got hit with the hardware it would have been worse. We have been messing with it for hours trying to get it work for the shade cloth over our pool. I'm going to call it a loss and go to the hardware store for some quality parts.

Trying to source the same parts from the local big box store would have cost me a small fortune. This collection was exactly what I needed, had all the parts necessary for my job, and worked perfectly.

didnt work for me but you only have a month to return hardware items. pretty lame. not like the metal went bad in a month. Can be prone to rust or corrosion over time.

Purchased this to hang some curtains, to create the appearance of a wall. Worked perfectly.Side note: You must use wire cutters to cut to length, anything else will damage the cable and prevent you from crimping the ends.

The items that come in the kit, minus the cable, were okay but not the greatest. The cable broke on one end during install but had hoped it was just a weak section & redid it. All seemed fine & we were happy with shade. But as you can see from the picture, when we went outside the next day, the cable had failed on another corner. I think it is just too thin to hold, at least sail that is 16'x25'. Getting 1/8" cable from Home Depot and will replace all the cable that came with this kit.

Video was very useful if you have not done this before. Only caveats: This is a LOT of wire. Won't go to waste though, I hope. I think you need more of the aluminum crimping loops as I used two for each connection. You really do need to crimp hard on the aluminum stops but they work very well. For my vines, this was perfect.

This kit had all I needed to string over 50' of Bistro lights in my backyard. String it up and use a hammer and blunt object (I used a screwdriver) to secure the thimbles and create clean custom lengths. Easy to work with.

We needed support for our corner shelves that did not depend on coming up from the floor. This cable and turnbuckle kit worked perfectly. I did use shorter ring lag screws as the ones in the kit were a little too long for this unique application. Very sturdy and well made!

Ordered two sets for two ten foot espaliers. Assembly was easy, all parts are sturdy. Only used wire from one kit for both assemblies.

I did not get the 100’ wire that was supposed to be included or clampsUpdate: they sent a replacement and corrected the order fast. The right product was delivered fast and I was able to install my clothes line that day. Thank you.

The set comes with crimping pieces to lock the cable loop together. These don't hold under even mild tension. Very disappointing. Now I have to go buy additional hardware.

I was going to hang some bistro lights on it, but it snapped in half just being tight enough for the line not to sag under its own weight. Junk.

This is a nice set that has the right idea and good design/parts but in my case I have put this on 3 different (6foot tall x 3 foot wide) gates and works great for about a month then I find the cable snapped. Have had to replace the cable at least once on all 3 gates. I will most likely swap out the cable with some sort of chain instead of the cable.
