This is a basic no-frill trackpad. I've been using on my various computers, from older Puppy Linux and Linux Mint distros on through Win7, Win8.1, Win10, and Windows Server 2012 It performed flawlessly in every single instance- downloading drivers atotmagically- and I find myself often using a mouse in my right hand and this trackpad in my left. This has your typical full-size USB connector and works equally well on USB 2.0 and 3.0 connection. The device itself fits inside the palm of my hand…

Pros
  • Plug-and-play installation - no additional software required
Cons
  • The touchpad may not have a scrolling feature at all

Just what I needed good for me

Unboxed the trackpad a few days ago, thinking it would turn out to be another useless gadget I threw money away on. Happy to be wrong. I wanted a trackpad to go along with a small keyboard to conserve space on my desk. I'm used to using a trackball mouse, and trackball only require a space large enough to fit the actual mouse, as it doesn't move. Due to a thumb injury, I can no longer use a trackball and purchased an ergonomic mouse. The new mouse felt great, but it requires a lot of space…

Cons
  • The touchpad may not work well with gestures

I really like this so far, but I keep triggering unwanted gestures. Three gestures in particular: (1) one finger up from bottom edge in Firefox opens the Bookmarks sidebar (it seems to do a command-B), (2) two-finger up/down scroll from the edge moves to the top/bottom of the page, and (3) three-finger up moves the window behind other windows. The first two are my fault, but the third happens when I'm only using two fingers. I will probably be able get used to it enough to avoid these most of…

Pros
  • Switchable left and right click buttons for ambidextrous use
Cons
  • The touchpad may not have a backlight for nighttime use

Very small touchpad

I needed a very small touch pad or trackball, to fit to the right of a keyboard (having no numeric pad) in a pull-out keyboard drawer in an equipment rack. Trackballs are too high, so a touchpad is needed. The Perixx fits the space perfectly and operates well.My only wish would be for its cable to come out at the top of the unit, rather than the RHS. I use it with the buttons at the bottom - but there is space for the cable!

Cons
  • The touchpad may be incompatible with certain software programs

Loud clickers in my review

Actually a very good touch-pad.Pros: space-efficient. This is more close to the size of the touch-pad on my laptop. The other touch-pads I ordered and tried were practically twice the size of this one, which seems much bigger than a touchpad needs to be.The 'touch'part where your finger touches/slides is slightly rough. I like this bc it seemed to help me feel how much my fingers were sliding. It's a 'wired' touchpad. I like this since you don't have to worry about it running out of juice, or…

Pros
  • ‎BD-R
Cons
  • The touchpad may be too sensitive, causing accidental clicks

Good item. for my opinion

Smaller than I expected. (yes i saw the dimensions.) As a whole. Works like you would expect it would. Can't always get the tap to work either with finger or nail. Works on my kodi box fine.

Pros
  • ‎Windows 7, 8, and 10
Cons
  • The touchpad may not work well on uneven surfaces

Learning how to use it

I have a sore wrist and bought this to use to save wear and tear on my wrist. It does require learning how to use! It seems to work the same as on my MacBook Pro, but doesn't scroll as well as the MacBook. (I am using this track pad on my computer at work, which has Windows 10 as an OS). I suspect that when this track pad doesn't scroll (which happens far too often) that it might be a Windows 10 issue. I will continue to learn and tinker with it, but so far, I would give it a "C" grade.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The edges of the touchpad may be too raised, causing discomfort during prolonged use
