🐠 Eheim AEH7633600 Impeller 2217: High-Performance Replacement for Aquarium Water Pump Review

I have read that this will fit and improve GPH on an Eheim 2215 without an atomizer. I tested it and noticed a significant improvement in my water quality. For the price this is a great value upgrade to improve circulation and flow in your aquarium. FYI: I use one of these in my 55g tank.

My Eheim 2217 started making a horrible grinding noise a few years after I bought it used. I took it all apart, cleaned it, smeared the moving parts with petroleum jelly, shook it to remove bubbles, etc., but the sanding continued! So I bought the impeller and replaced it. Now he is blissfully silent again. :)

I bought this to replace my broken impeller Eheim 2215. It was exactly what I expected. This is actually an update for 2215 if you want to improve the flow a bit. It's part of Eheim, so no surprises. Do yourself a favor and replace the impeller shaft at the same time, as if you have a bad impeller, it would probably wear out the shaft unevenly as well. The combination of both made my filter work like new.

I don't think the impeller has anything to do with auction strength if it works, for example it's similar to how fast your car drives based on the tires that it has on it has established. It's more of a motor job. But it affects smoothness, how well it revs, depending on how well the engine works with it. Keep in mind that the wave is also involved here.
