Works well in sensors and temperature sensors

These sensors work well. I'm using Brew Pi and they run in fully active mode. The temperature appears to be stable and accurate.

Great tool for the job.

Universal temperature sensor. A flexible compromise between speed and accuracy. Working with a wired bus can be tricky, but libraries are available for popular platforms like Arduino. A great addition to any kit.

Very practical and inexpensive

Great little temperature sensors. I use them to monitor some pipes in my basement that are glued directly to copper pipes with some thermal grease. I connected a total of 5 together in a Raspberry Pi Zero W for logging purposes. Please note that this is not exactly fast.

Easy to use, cheap and they work.

Bought after one of the kids left the freezer door open in the garage and we lost almost everything there. I have several cheap ESP8266 controllers to place temperature sensors in several places in the house including the freezer. They are inexpensive and work well.

Exactly as stated

They work exactly as they should. I was pleasantly surprised that the entire batch of 20 worked to spec. I bought two batches of "Eiechip 10Pcs 18B20 DS18B20 TO-92 3 Pin Wire Digital Thermometer Temperature IC Sensor" (20 total) because they are inexpensive enough to experiment with and the 1-wire interface makes it easy to both individually and to connect multiple modules. Maxim Integrated (formerly Dallas) specifications are +/- 0.5ยฐC; each achieved 0.49ยฐC or less over multiple days ofโ€ฆ

Fake Sensor DS18B20

This is a fake sensor, not a real sensor. There is an Arduino script you can run that will tell you. Here's the output from some I've tested: 28-FF-05-12-02-17-05-57: ROM mismatch with expected pattern 28-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-00-00 checksum error match. Notepad registers: 50/05/4B/A2/7F/FF/7F/10/3A Info only: Notepad bytes 2,3,4 (4B/A2/7F): non-maximum defaults 4B/46/7F . Byte 5 of the memo (0xFF): OK. Notepad byte 6 (0x7F): Unexpected value. Mistake. Notepad byte 7 (0x10): ca. 0x4E changes alarmโ€ฆ
