Know what you get.

I recently bought this punch because I thought it was a great idea. I have several thumbsticks and they work well and are fairly simple. This one is difficult to use. It cuts through, but you have to press really hard. I also found that the flower never fully opens because there are two notches on opposite sides. After some research I found out that the notches allow the flower to be bent for a 3D effect. If the flower is to be used alone, the rest of the flower must be hammered out by hand. No

Almost impossible to break through!

I turned blue trying to knock out a flower! Aligning in a small area is also tricky (I cut out a few bookmarks with my Cricut and wanted to try a simple flower on each one). I even tried using it on thin paper but to no avail. I have never used a rotary hammer but this will be my first and last rotary hammer from this company. This is a mixed review.

The impact results are stunning. It is a beautiful and versatile hole punch that can be used for postcards, scrapbooks, etc. I really like its design. Too bad it's so hard to use successfully. The problem is the usability. It's VERY hard to hit. You need to place the punch on the table and press very hard to completely punch out the image and detach it from the paper completely. Any small pieces in the sheet will get stuck in the punch and you should try to get them out with a pin or something…
