EK Tools Rotary Paper Trimmer with Enhanced Packaging Review

I've been using this trimmer quite a bit the past few days. Love it, it does the job on par with any other rotary trimmer I've had. I like that the carriage rises so I can better position what I'm cutting. There is a magnet under the foil which helps hold the foil in place which fell out as soon as I opened the packaging. Therefore 3 stars. I can stick it back on with little effort, but you don't have to fix what you just pulled out of the box.

This trimmer cuts straight in one! Love it! You might want to cover up in case the trimmer is discontinued and carry extra cutting blades and rubber tracks for the base like my last trimmer did. This EC is great! So I stocked up on this one which is totally different from the other trimmer I had and bought some blades and strips to fit under the blades of the trimmer itself should it be discontinued. I hope that doesn't happen because I really like this one and it's thin and I can take it…

After my old one broke I spent a lot of time researching the paper cutter. The price was one of the reasons I chose this EK over the Fiskars. It cuts well if you have it on a hard, flat surface. Once it's not completely flat, it makes jagged, curved cuts. (For example, I had a corner on two sheets of card stock and that was enough to make wavy cuts.
