The quality is fantastic. They are perfect for staining or painting, and the mounting hardware is very precise and easy to use. I definitely recommend it.

Perfect size and profile for the pit bench I built. However, the keyhole mounting plates are not in the same place. Be sure to measure and install the screws for each individual bracket.

We only received 9 braces out of 16, more than half of them completely different sizes and by the time this was implemented we had already dyed some braces the wrong size. Fiction. Thanks to Revain Support for fixing the Ekena Millwork bug.

Ordered 6 of this bracket. Actually the bar was great, the reason for the bad rating is that 4 out of 6 was a completely different item. When I asked if I could keep 2 and return the wrong ones I was told it was a set and they should be returned all together. So be careful when ordering a "set", it could be a bunch of random brackets that don't match and then you'll have to go back and order separately.

I bought these to replace the black metal ones. I searched and found a few I liked at a craft store, but they weren't solid wood. When I found them, I had to try! As others have pointed out, they won't work if your countertop is already installed. Unless you make changes like me! I pre-drilled a hole in each, then using a 1/2" drill bit, sealed the hole with 1/2" wooden dowels/knobs. I used Minwax Jacobean Dye.

Great product, great price, will definitely buy from this manufacturer again! I would have given 5 stars but deducted one because after installation I noticed that some of the cut outs in the center of the brackets were different sizes. I fully understand that this can vary from batch to batch, but I would have been more cautious about which ones to place next to each other on the sides of my kitchen island if I had noticed earlier. Otherwise great!

The quality was pretty good for the price but the buyer should be aware of the installation process before purchasing these brackets. They must be installed BEFORE the shelving is erected. This may not bother some, but in my case they were installed under the breakfast bar in the kitchen. They were intended to provide little support and were more decorative than anything else, but the brackets require the shelf or pole to be supported in order to remove them first.
