Fantastic, what more can I say

Fantastic, what more can I say. I use them as rear speakers for my 5.1 system and wow! Klipsch, cutting edge technology and high caliber art. These elaks rival, if not beat, the best. Thanks Elak

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • unreliable

There is a problem. subscription required.

A big brand and a high price raise certain expectations. The resolution is excellent. The sound is a bit bright. But play a sound wave and it is NOT a clean speaker. Tons of valleys. The base went down from 500 Hz. So if you are not planning a subwoofer, this speaker is not for you! (and I'm not a basehead). Certainly not a standalone speaker.

Pros
  • The best in its niche

No cabinets can cause loss of fidelity

Sounds superficial. Maybe it's because they don't have closets. I haven't built it into the wall yet. I just listen to them in "free form”. I bought a couple of Pioneer speakers designed by Andrew Jones and expected these Elacs to be much better. I was disappointed. Maybe it's a 6.5 inch woofer instead of 4 and 5 inch speakers. But it's very bright at high frequencies.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Can't remember

Mids and highs sound fantastic. Limited bass. need to team up with subs. Zero distortion at high volume. The attachment system can really be improved a lot. The tabs holding the speaker to the wall will not pop off on their own. You may have to punch a notch in the threads of the mounting screws for the flip to occur, real resistance. This problem can be easily solved by changing the design of the plastic ramp on the speaker. Grille not completely flush. You should check out the Yamaha grill…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Incredible sound reproduction and build quality! The only problem is that the "dog-ears" don't fully open to grab the backing of the drywall! Mounting screws that screw into brass? The inserts in the plastic pawls do not have enough friction between the machine screw and the filled nut. So if you turn the screws clockwise to grab the back of the drywall, the dog-ears just stay down and don't rotate up 90 degrees to grab the back of the drywall. drywall. My solution (I love these speakers so…
