in an unexpected way this has actually improved the look of my homepod and i like its current position. You don't know you need it until you get it. It was definitely an investment!

They really do look good, and the HomePods look great in that regard. Unfortunately they sound very different in this position. I find the acoustic treatment doesn't know how to properly tune it when it's on its side.

It looks great and reduces HomePod bass that shakes the table it's on. You can't get rid of it completely. If you're looking at this article, you probably have a HomePod and know that it's very bass-heavy. I also like the look of the HomePod on its side. Looks a little less conspicuous.

It's just a piece of durable silicone that makes HomePod look cool, like a torpedo hanging on your desk. The sound sounds great when HomePod is laid on its side and there are no functional issues. I recommend looking for a dust cover on eBay as the HomePod can easily get dirty or damaged. Because of this, I think the HomePod looks great.
