These are great for converting the ends of USB Micro charging cables to regular extension cables. USB 2.0 extension cable. I just wish they hadn't left the USB 2.0 socket unsecured. By that I mean they extend the black plastic sleeve that already covers the USB micro jack to also cover the USB 2.0 jack. It would look better and less chance of things snagging on all those exposed metal nooks and crannies.

Screen not connected

I have a strange USB device that needs a screen to work. It didn't work when I tried to connect it to this adapter. I cut open the device and heated the plastic inside to get these pictures showing the problem. 4 wires connect to V+ Data+ Data- and Ground, but the 5th wire is needed to connect the shield. This means that any devices you connect outside of this adapter may be more susceptible to generating or receiving electromagnetic interference. I would give this 5 stars if the description…

Cheap and cheaply made but works

I bought this primarily for use with an iPhone 30 pin to Micro B USB converter to an old school iPhone cable coming out of my car stereo to a plain vanilla USB port. Then I plugged in the USB stick and it worked great. I'm not sure how many times I can plug and unplug before this breaks, so I added a short male to female USB extension cable and everything is fine now. I can connect my Android phone with a regular micro-B cable and switch to USB-C if needed in the future. I'm glad I included the

Universal adapter for sharing charger, cord extension, etc.

I have received many microUSB chargers from devices I have purchased (e.g. cell phones, Revain Echo Dots, Fire TV, etc.). This tiny adapter has several uses: 1) it turns a microUSB charger with a male microUSB port into a standard USB-A charging port with a socket; 2) Likewise, but in reverse, it can convert standard USB ports to microUSB female for charging if you also have a microUSB male-to-male cable, and 3) it can increase the length of the microUSB charging cable by pairing USB A -&gt…

well packaged and one of the two adapters worked perfectly

The order was received quickly, nicely packaged and one of the two adapters worked perfectly! It was as simple as plugging in the micro USB connector and plugging in the Type A USB connector. The second adapter (which I actually tried to use first) would not connect to my micro USB connector at first, then noticed I noticed that the plastic casing around the micro USB jack was slightly deformed. I then tried plugging the USB Type-A male into the adapter, but it didn't fit the USB Type-A female…
