I originally bought this multi-component tape for use as electrical connectors etc. However when I received it I found that it was less wide than the "regular" electrical tape used by electricians. The size is clearly stated so the seller is not affected. I can use it for outlets and other 120 volt applications but I prefer the wider type. Ideal for tape but not for electrical applications. I don't see it lasting long enough or being thick enough to provide the protection needed. However, if you only use it for recreational purposes, the price cannot match the level of quality.
