Good selection of wire nuts for big and small jobs

Pretty simple overview. I have a good selection of wire nuts for odd jobs around the house. I can't comment on how well they hold up after putting them on because I play it safe and always use duct tape as insurance to keep the nut in place.

Wire Nut Springs Loose

I would not buy these electrical wire nuts again. The small springs in the plastic caps were not secured on about half the ones I tried. Either the spring just fell out or the spring was so twisted that it couldn't be used. I could use some, but not all.

Cheap and flimsy - Terminals

The threaded coils are smaller than the cap size and I keep turning them in the cap so they don't pull or twist the wires. Unfortunately my first use was on stranded wire and I went through three nuts to make one of my connections. Almost a star, but technically they somehow work with some credibility.

A great choice to keep on hand

We're always looking for wire nuts in our spares baskets. No longer! Containing all the popular sizes, from small to large, this set is perfect for any of your projects. On our first use they worked as they should, gripped and held tight. I'm definitely looking forward to answering the next "Do we have a wire nut?" question with a loud "Yes - right here!"

Splice screws OK, packaging bunk and smells like fish

Would I buy this item again? May be. The main part - the splice screws themselves - seems fine. The problem lies in the packaging. One of the little tabs covering the bin fell off and was dangling in the Revain bag before I unwrapped it. Another seems about to join him. I expect this to be closed and secured with a rubber band, but I can live with that. The container also has a very distinct fishy odor reminiscent of smoked salmon. Luckily I love fish.
