This product works exactly as promised. I noticed that some reviewers said it didn't run as flat as the instructions said. My husband and I laid this object on concrete in the sun for about twenty minutes and it became quite flexible. We carried him in, laid him flat on the floor, and put a heavy rug under him that had cooled. After that it stayed pretty even. I think cooling the item under something so it stays flat might solve the problem some users are having with the item staying folded.

Does anyone seem to like this thing? Others are less satisfied. I'm in the last group. I can only assume that we will get different products. The one I have is very hard. We bought this to hide the ethernet cable that we needed to run across the floor at the entrance to our kitchen. There is a groove on the bottom that keeps the cable in place. It comes rolled up but we just stretched it out and placed it between our mattresses overnight as another reviewer suggested and it straightened out perfectly. If you don't have a lot of cables to run or thick cables, this is a great solution. Mine works in front of my sliding glass door, which has a single Category 6 Ethernet cable running through it. The space for cables isn't very deep and you can't run more than 1 or 2 regular sized cables inside the cavity for it.
