I like it very much. I used it to connect a rain sensor. That works great. It can be connected to any switch to read what you want. The front panel has a reset-to-zero function and a count pause function. On the back there is a connection for counting breaker closings and a function for counting pauses. Powered by 1 AA battery. simple but effective.

This counter works fine on my heat press. Mine came with no instructions but it was easy to understand. There is no on/off switch so the display is on all the time and I have no idea how long the battery will last. Changing the battery is cumbersome - you have to unscrew two screws to open the back of the case and get to the AA cell. One star off because I can't turn it off.

I have this to count rows on my knitting machine but it seems random to count two instead of one and back again. If it were consistent I could just divide by two, but as it is it's very unreliable. I'll try using a smaller magnet and see if that helps. [edit] I tried with a smaller magnet but now sometimes it doesn't work. don't count. Feels like I just can't win with this lol.

Looks very promising. However there are 4 terminals -, + and -, + no idea in English how to use them. I used clamps with clamps on top, and closing the first two clamps increases the counter, and closing the other two clamps resets the counter. I want to use this with a water meter with pulses generated by a hall effect switch. Has anyone tried this?

It will work once you figure out how to connect it. WITHOUT MANUAL. There are Chinese characters on the back of the device. There are two connectors on the back. Connect the probe to the right side, the orange wire to +, the other wire to -. But I had to try three of the four permutations to get there. I attached this to Patrick's (hedgehog) bike to count his activities. Seems to work perfectly! There are no instructions, but you don't need them. Just connect the 2 wires from the Prox switch to the 2 terminals on the back. I had to look closely to see the markers, but one set of terminals is a market RESET and the other is marked COUNT.
