I had a problem with the trailer shutting off after a few minutes, there are several relays in the system, I was able to test them all in minutes and replace the bad ones. I recommend getting a relay pull tool, some of these are hard to find.

I'm a heavy equipment mechanic and all my workmates have this brand of relay testers. It actually has a feature or two that their old model (#192) didn't have I think. I've used it a few times and it's already found a bad relay for me. I highly recommend this tester

instead of just replacing the suspect relay with a new one only to throw away the last one, you can now prove to yourself that the relay is good or bad. This loop checks it 10 times. I've had relays that failed when they just got hot (near the motor etc etc) so you can't prove that with this unit (unless you test the relay if it's from any source is hot). However, it helps with general troubleshooting if you can only test it.

Great little kit for testing relays for 12 and 24 volts Yes there are other ways to test relays with a voltmeter but it is much easier just plug the relay into the correct socket, by car connect battery, push button! It tells you if the relay is good and gives you an error code if the relay is bad. I also have relay clamps that are difficult to remove to keep my hands off the relay in tight spaces and I also have an extra relay adapter for larger relays testing for cooling. Fans not included in
