Just buy locks!

Tension guides do not work and pin is missing. You can only do this job with phaser locks. This is what I did after the foils didn't work and the thin foil for bank 1 broke the very thin plastic.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Everything is fine

good to have on hand

I have this to be ready if the roller rocker starts to fail in my pentastar motor I can fix it right away before it causes more damage and a more expensive repair. I hope I'll NEVER need these tools, but I'm glad they're on hand, and at a very reasonable price!

Break easily in timing belt tools

This was the cheapest I could get delivered through Prime. Do not press down with ANY force. I broke one. The other broke when my elbow hit it lightly once after installation. The plastic on the brakes has a very coarse grain, making it cheap. After applying epoxy for 5 minutes I was able to complete the job but both broke again in the same spot which was repaired when I tried to get them out.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Bullshit waste of time

grenade pin is too long at the end to fit in the tensioner 10369a is thin and doesn't securely hold right slider back to keep chain from stretching . This is an awful piece of junk china set that I would never buy. The money I get as a refund but the wasted time I wasted trying to get it to work over and over again I will never get back. I wish I had seen reviews with the same issue before buying. DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • I don't have much animosity about it everything is fine

ABSOLUTELY TRASH! on Tools & Equipment

The only part of this set that works as advertised is the cam locks. The tip of the left tensioner release pin is too long and needs to be rotated and inserted. The parts used to repel the guides and clamps are too thin. You have to push them at an angle so that they get caught on the rails and keep slipping off. The one for the left didn't even squeeze the tensioner enough to install the retaining pin (which is also not included in the kit, despite one of the reviews saying so). I've spent a…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Nothing Here
