Confusing directions

I connected it to a generator but it didn't work. I have a HEI distributor. Can the tachometer side of the distributor be used to receive a signal?

Looks good, functionality is questionable.

Good looking, easy to install. Delays and gaps in my application. As the engine revs up, it decelerates and then shifts to higher revs and stays there as the throttle is closed.

Tachometers are leaking

Used the boat for the first time after I installed the tachometer and fuel gauge, they filled with condensation and now you can't even see the dials. 6 days later in the sun and they are still wet. Sideways and unusable. The return window is closed. Complete garbage.
