Excellent, very accurate at low speeds in HVAC operation

I bought this to replace the CPS VG200, I've tested them against each other. This one from Elitech is very accurate when evacuating long lines on HVAC jobs. In contrast to the CPS, it is very sensitive and equipped with very high-quality connections. Recommended, great price.

This is a very cute little unit.

I like it. However, it has a smaller range (0-20,000 microns instead of 0-100,000 microns) compared to the brand, which costs about $30 more. It doesn't take long to get the vacuum down to 20,000 or below unless you have a significant leak. The blue backlit display is good. My only gripe was that the backlit display auto-turns off too early when the numbers stop changing (which is actually probably normal most of the time, because it means you're either done (reaching the perfect vacuum) or on…

Micron sensor with data logging

Multi-purpose micron sensor. The maximum pressure value is 19,000 microns. So if your system cannot hold that pressure, the pressure gauge will not read. You can choose almost any pressure unit you can imagine. Data logging works, but there's no manual, so you'll have to fiddle around for a while to figure it out. Basically you press record on the sensor. Then when you are ready to collect data, click on the associated sensor via the BlueTooth phone app and select to read the data and it will…
