This is very much! Good cooler!

This turned out to be what I wanted and at the right price, but I was a bit concerned that only one assessment was being done at a time. It turned out better than I expected! Solid precision tooling has made it a gem to set up and I'm sure it will perform as well as any on the market. In fact, in this case there are two radiators. Silicone bands are used, which, in contrast to conventional rubber bands, have a good thickness and can be easily stretched. Just be careful not to scratch them…

Keeps what it promises

I needed a 500 GB heat sink for my Samsung 970 EVO+. It met all the requirements. I went with the larger of the two heatsinks (I wasn't aware that each heatsink is used on its own) and it runs noticeably cooler. Under load I see a temperature drop of 5-15°C. Before installing the heatsink, temperatures hovered around 70°C during the 5x1GiB test with CrystalDiskMark. It now peaked at 64°C during the 5x8GiB test. My system has two fans in the front and one in the back, so the heatsink probably…

Works with PS5 and Western Digital SN850 (see details)

I bought the SN850 on sale a few months ago because of the ground clearance without a heatsink. If I were to buy a version with a heatsink I wouldn't look for a separate one. Okay, first I used the tape attachment system, NOT the screw attachment system. It might have worked with a screw mount, but I haven't tried it. There isn't much clearance, and the bands seemed to offer the best clearance option with even, constant pressure running the length of the drive without worrying about the side…

Looked good, but not what I expected

Knowing I would receive this product in a few days, I started logging my drives' temperatures at different times of the day using the CrystalDiskInfo program. The M.2 NVME SSD showed readings ranging from 33 to 52°C. The product arrived and it appeared to be a well designed product with precision. Assembly took 15 minutes. The outside temperature was about the same for several days before and after the product was delivered, giving a good basis for comparison. My computer was used in the same…

PRO/CON bottom When I got my new 512GB Silicon Power NVME and formatted it, the first thing I did was run a read/write speed test using Crystal Mark. This is my first M.2 SSD and I was shocked to see the temperature climb to 67C in just a few seconds. I know they like to get a little warm, but I could only imagine the temperatures they can reach when doing something that requires a little more work than just a quick speed test. So I figured a heatsink would be a good idea and came across this…
