Ford Mustang Badge Decal Set: GT Emblem + 5.0 Emblem x 2 (Matte Black) Review

I'm only selling what I made for the side fender emblems. The emblem on the rear trunk lid sucks. It does not follow the contour of the trunk lid. It's completely flat, so about 30% of the center is actually touching and sticking. The outer parts do not stick and will pop out again.

Rear GT Badge does not fit properly and does not rest on boot lid. The two 5.0 icons were perfect. I really want the GT badge to be in place. Old badges even had to be removed with a heat gun, new ones were attached after removing the old ones.

Great product for the price. All dowel pins fit the vehicle perfectly. The biggest problem is with the "GT" badge. The trunk lid (2015) is slightly curved so that the emblem is not flush. It can be softened with heat BUT be extremely careful. Too much and it will quickly melt and deform.

Looks nice. But whoever packed it put 2 5.0 badges in the passenger side pocket. On the driver's side, the pins were in the wrong corners. I had to sand them down. Managed to use. Otherwise easy to install. Used Goof-Off to remove old glue. I would like a front pony emblem. Not bad for the price.

For that much money you can't go wrong. This is a cheap set of decent quality wing insignia. The GT bootlid doesn't fit the curve in my opinion so don't bother fitting it. You might be able to heat it up, but save yourself some time and just buy a plaque on the trunk lid. Overall, I'm happy with the black matte wing.

Excellent quality and packaging! The only complaint is that the GT badge had very weak adhesive (the corners didn't stick) so I had to replace it with a new 3M adhesive which took a while due to the complicated construction (plastic guide knobs and corners). . However, the glue on the 5.0 icons was great! Definitely recommend this product, just be prepared to buy a roll of glue for $ 53 million!
