It was pretty simple to put up did take a bit of work but as long as you peel only a few inches and press to adhere to your wall it's easy, it's just time consuming. I initially ordered 2 black wallpaper rolls at first but realized I needed more rolls for the size wall I have. Fast forward, I got 4 more rolls and applied all 6 to the wall. Bought this to glam up my bland apartment. It’s so pretty and definitely provides good color and class to the space. Started with my barn door, which started getting crooked halfway down. So I lifted it a few inches to fix it and it pulled the original paint off the door! At that point I figured I might as well finish since it’ll be too ugly to pull it all off. Update: cleans well, after dryway dust settled, i layered for a deeper look and used molding on edges to pop.Used for an accent piece where my makeup station will go. It was fairly easy to hang, tho wrinkled, I was able to smooth out easily enough. For those who complain about the backing, I have worked with a lot of contact papers, just place a small piece of painters tape (or any tape) on the backing side at the corners, makes a tab and pulls apart flawlessly! This is my second time purchasing this product for multiple projects. The black paper is simplistic, beautiful, and feels very nice. It also holds up well.The adhesion is great on top of mdf wood. The back of the paper has lines to help you cut straight. The contact paper is forgiving if you need to pull it up to correct a mistake. I recommend using a hair dryer to soften the paper around corners.

As soon as you prepare to measure the the length to cut, you can see air appear in various areas, and watch it move across the paper. Because if the material, it will leave a permanent mark that you can't smooth out. I've never seen contact paper do this. It could be old contact paper. I am so disappointed that before I even remove the paper, before I even cut it, air pockets already form that I cannot smoth out once I peel back the paper. I purchased this wallpaper to cover a graduation Card Box that I made. Why had I not thought of this sooner?! The best thing since sliced bread! It adhered to the Card board box so easily and effortlessly without puckers or wrinkles. (I had to rub out a few wrinkles but without a fuss). I got this wallpaper to use as an accent wall in my apartment. It was pretty difficult to get the panels to line up straight, but otherwise smooth sailing for installation. I highly recommend peeling back the paper/pressing out bubbles diagonally instead pulling straight down or left to right. I’m not great at putting up wall paper— I get creases and don’t put in on very even when I do try to put it up. This wallpaper is special though, because it almost never creases, unless you’re applying it to a weirdly shaped surface. It also has a nice visual texture, that makes it easy to disguise overlapping
