I got this for my elderly aunt who lives in a nursing home. Management walked in twice without knocking. They always say they knock, but they don't. It works great as a doorstop and alarm. An inexpensive solution to their problem without changing the lock or adding a chain and it's noisy.

I really wanted to keep this product but it didn't suit me at all. I really wanted this item to work but after I put the batteries in it made a small beep and I decided to test it on the door. nothing yet. Then I tried to press it manually and there is no sound. The setting was great too.
