Bought for price and simplicity. My sweet 91 year old mother in law lives with us. And of course she has some health issues. We bought a set of these so we can place her strategically and put specific doors around the house in case she strays around in the middle of the night. I expected them to make significant noise. through. It's louder than a smoke alarm. I love how easy it is to pop in a 9 volt battery and you're done. They also have a rubber grip on the bottom to keep them from slipping on a hard floor surface. It's also small enough to fit in a purse or pocket for hotel trips and vacations. Excellent safety valve.
