What a great radio! I turned it on for a first test for 3 minutes and tested the light - wow - bright! Then I checked the radio. Loud and clear. Switched it to the weather radio and it was loud and clear too. It's not too heavy or bulky and comes with a small black carrying case. Thinking to buy 2 more for in car emergency kits.

For the money this thing is awesome. I have an outbuilding on the property that I use as a workshop. There's no electricity in the building, so I leave the solar charging thing by the window. The FM and WX bands are surprisingly clear. I bring it in from time to time to charge the internal battery, but it's never let me down. My only complaint is that the light under the solar panel turns on automatically when the panel is raised more than 30 degrees from its original position. However.

Indispensable in every situation. We realized we really needed it when Thomas' fire hit us. We had no electricity for 6 hours and were unable to contact our relatives to let them know we were fine. Our entire backup battery is dead, as is all of our other devices. This is amazing when you have absolutely no other source of energy. The USB option and the crank are really handy, and the radio and flashlight are another plus for the features.

Purchased on __. Returnable by April 5, 2019 with a product support window until June 4, 2019. It worked great initially, although the sound quality was poor. Had to retune my favorite station every few days as it wasn't digital radio so wasn't sure if the unit was faulty or the station was drifting. At some point it stopped working completely. There's no customer support to complain to and no warranty the manufacturer has to uphold. Conclusion: NOT RECOMMENDED for customer purchase, especially

Broke on first use. Unfortunately I sent it to my father in my country and I can't send it back. it ended up in the trash can. UPDATE: They contacted me in October, apologized that the product wasn't working for me and offered to send me a new one. I had a family emergency and simply replied that they were trying to work with me to resolve my issue and the customer service was really good. Works as advertised. I thought it would be bigger than it was but even if it's smaller than expected it does everything as advertised. The last hurricane I survived was the reason for this purchase. While there was no electricity, my cell phone ran out of power and I had nothing to get news about the weather. The weather panel on this one was very important and it works great.
