This appliance works great and the grill on top is very handy, ideal for browning food. Great investment and I would do it again.

The unit is well built and easy to use. Similar to my previous 8 year old Emerson microwave. The only complaint is that the interior lighting isn't as bright and the front panel doesn't glow for nighttime use.

Fantastic price for this microwave. Big and fast when heating up all sorts of things. This oven also has a traditional heating element and comes with a metal grill. I didn't put it in because it's metal. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

This is my first 'microwave' and I have to say it's great but read the manual it's a 50/50 setting when it comes to BOTH microwaves and one cheerful light show is cooked in the oven. but it cooks great with an oven and the microwave part works well as a microwave. but that squeaky holly, I wish I could turn it off.

First, our second (ugh) Kenmore microwave/convection we've had in just two years made a loud bang and quit. Our new Emerson arrived a week ahead of schedule! I was happy about that, because our conventional oven doesn't heat up when it's very hot outside. I needed to upgrade my microwave oven a long time ago but didn't want to pay a penny for it. I am very happy with this purchase. It works great, it's spacious inside and I love that the door opens easily with the handle! I haven't tried using the metal mesh that came with it because I have a convection oven and don't need it, but I probably would use it if I didn't have one. It's nice to know I have a choice. Of all the microwaves I've owned, I've never had an Emerson, but I'm impressed with how this one works. In many ways this one works better than the last one I had which is sold by Sears and is their flagship brand.
