Nice setup for bed and charging!

I wanted a bedside clock with a large visible display for an elderly lady who is important to me. It seemed to be the best because it had two USB ports. This gives her the opportunity to charge her hearing aids and mobile phone right next to her bed. I don't like turning back the clock and didn't want her to have to. Thus, it is protected from power outages and blackouts. The display doesn't seem to distract her at night. However, you can see the time from anywhere in the room.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

I like the fact that I don't have to install it.

I like the fact that I don't have to install it anymore. When the power goes out and comes back, everything happens automatically. However, the numbers are too bright, even on the darkest settings. Would a color other than white be better, like red? Even the radio for the alarm clock does not keep the station. After a few days, when the alarm clock rings, all I hear is static. Not critical for me, but annoying. Buttons are not so easy to find in the dark, so it is best to memorize them…

No option to disable Daylight Saving Time

Seems to be a good watch and has all the features I need. Unfortunately, the "SmartSet" code used by Emerson isn't as smart as it sounds. Daylight Saving Time is fully automatic, whether you like it or not. They didn't think to add a few lines of code to give users the option to turn off this feature if you live somewhere that doesn't use daylight saving time, such as United Kingdom. in Arizona. Of course you can use the manual time, but every time the power goes out it has to be reset…

Power off button to close playback.

As for the fact that the phone is fairly easy to set up, it's great. The display brightness is ideal for my family at a low level. Having 2 different alarm settings is just what we needed. Automatic time change is one of the things I was specifically looking for. I really like the Emerson brand alarm clock. Alone for many years. They had an old time change chart for a long time so I finally bought a new watch this year. Our main issue is that the power button is so close to the snooze button…

Pros
  • don't waste too much time
Cons
  • too stupid

Came with a dead lithium ion battery that I had to replace.

Easy to read numbers on the display. Easy to set clock and alarm. FM reception is good and the speaker is fairly clear for a small clock radio. However, it arrived with a dead lithium-ion battery inside, which powers the backup to keep the correct time when it's off or in the event of a power outage. I bought a new battery and replaced it which was easy to do. I didn't want to bother with a return just for a bad battery but it's a shame there isn't a way to contact Revain to fix a minor issue…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Functional but not intuitive to set up

Definitely not intuitive how to set up many of the functions of this alarm clock. Too many functions per button. The snooze button is relatively small and the sleep button is hard to find in the dark. I read the instructions and it took me 20 minutes to set this alarm clock. This should be obvious and only takes a few minutes to customize or set up. In order to set both the radio frequency and the time, you have to scroll through the entire cycle, you cannot move forwards or backwards with…

Nothing, but my old Emerson was better.

I bought this to replace an old Emerson that was over 10 years old. The old device had a switch for almost every function and was very easy to use. Unfortunately, the snooze function no longer works, as does the ability to reliably activate an alarm when it should have, which is an important feature of an alarm clock. This novelty has both good and bad qualities. The Good - Digital tuner is nice - USB ports are handy - It has Bluetooth, although the sound quality isn't great anyway - Easy to…

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Too bright and noisy

I chose this clock radio model because it had the features I needed and had a four step dimmer. Other models I looked at only had two levels and were too bright. Unfortunately, the lowest of the dimmer levels is at least twice as bright as I would like. If I wanted a night light or wanted to read the clock from across the room that would be fine. Anyway, one question. Then the volume of the radio at the lowest level is about twice as high as desired. The old clock radios died after 35 years. It
