Unit works great - TV & Video

We have about 100 VHS home videos that I wanted to transfer to DVD for safekeeping and convenience. I was afraid to send them to the transfer service. This machine made it so easy. I'm glad I did it that way.

with a manual with me

I could not reflash. Without the manual, I was able to access it on the computer. Looking through it, I found that it only recorded a few that I wanted to record on more than one RW. It was for recording on the JVC x4 I had but it couldn't handle the recording. It seemed to try, then stopped after a few seconds. Was really disappointed as I believed it would do what I was looking for. I have several videocassettes that I need to edit. So just recording on R DVD doesn't do me much good. I am…

Old school gal meets modern technology and wins!

When I moved to another state none of my DVDs/VCRs came with me which broke my heart. I think I was a bit "old school" (now a 65-year-old lady) and at that time only knew the connection via standard cable, wall with VCR, VCR with television. HDMI was a whole new thing for me to get used to and learn. I was initially very disappointed because the HDMI signals don't daisy chain together like HDMI does, which confused me a lot at first.
